Description
LKI boxes are a convenient solution for liquid level indication. Bright LED lights indicate where the level is inside the tank. A rugged ABS plastic Nema4/4x enclosure can be wall mounted for easy viewing. Additional relays can be incorporated inside the box as outputs for pump control and alarms. The adhesive overlay which reads FULL – 3/4 – 1/2 – 1/4 – LOW/EMPTY can also be customized to meet your specific requirements. 12 or 24 vac/dc versions are also available upon request.
Operating Principle
A series of reed switches are positioned inside the stem at specific intervals. A single pole double throw switch is used for the low/empty level. When the tank is full all the lights are on except for the empty light. The lights will go off as the level falls until the low/empty level is reached. As the level falls below the low level the low light will go off and the empty light will come on.
