Description
This liquid level control relay can be used to control pumps or valves to automatically maintain the liquid level in a tank or vessel. It has hook up options for pump up or pump down applications. This relay is housed in a wall mount Nema 4/4x enclosure, comes with a 6ft power cord, and has two openings in the bottom. It requires the use of two float switches, one for high level and one for low level.

Modes of operation (tank empty prior to applying power)
DRAIN Â MODE
Upon application of power to the input terminals, the relay will be de-energized. As the liquid rises, the low float will close but the relay will remain de-energized. As the liquid continues to rise and the upper float then closes, the output contact transfers to the energized position. When the liquid drops and the upper float opens the relay remains energized. As the level continues to fall and the low float opens, the output contacts immediately revert to their original de-energized position.
FILL Â MODE
Upon application of power to the input terminals, the relay will be energized. As the liquid rises, the low float will close but the relay will remain energized. As the liquid continues to rise and the upper float then closes, the output contact transfers to the de-energized position. When the liquid drops and the upper float opens the relay remains de-energized. As the level continues to fall and the low float opens, the output contacts immediately revert to their original energized position.
